We've gotten so accustomed to instant gratification that we've lost sight of what it feels like to actually put in some work. From food/grocery delivery, Alexa/Siri, and Google, everything has oversimplified mundane tasks in life. I'm guilty of using these tools to a degree just like anyone else. But if you want something, if results are what you are looking for, you have to get off your ass and put in the work!
The point is, the brain can conceive, the mind can desire, and we can want it all. But until we take that desire, the wanting, the conception, and put it into motion through actions it won't happen.
For example, becoming active and hitting your health & wellness goals isn't going to be achieved by drinking flat tummy tea or subscribing to an unsustainable keto diet. You have to grind it out by getting off your ass and making the appropriate lifestyle changes! You have to watch your diet by being conscious of what you consume daily. If you want to change your current job or professional situation, create a plan. Moving on will likely require a new set of skills, so I would advise that you begin researching what certification courses you can take to advance your knowledge and expertise before you begin applying.
Whatever it takes! If it is a priority to you, you need to be embracing this part of the process. I know, I know, IT SUCKS!! I'm not fond of it either but I refuse to sit and wonder what it would have been like if I didn't put in the work. If I go down, I will go down swinging on EVERY occasion. There are no days off when it comes to any situation that requires you to put in work. For whatever you desire, I hope you're making adjustments because there is no magic pixie dust for you. There is no filter you can apply in real life, stop running from a challenge. Focus, clear your mind, and lock in on the target. You got this!
HOW ARE YOU GOING TO CHANGE THE WORLD TODAY MR. UPCHURCH?!
